I'd like to work in the property industry, preferably residential/lettings.?

Q. I wish to work in this industry as I have a passion for property, in fascinates me.

I wish to get a job in a lettings agency to learn a bit more about the market, build experience.

In the future I would like to own a fair few properties(rented out).

But I have no previous experience, i have few transferable skills as i have been working as a labourer.

What would be the best way to stand out, or put on my CV to get an interview(I am sure once i get the interview I will nail it), as im sure their will be so many applicants with more experience than me.

Any advice? Thanks

Q. my gf and I are thinkin of purchasing an old church which is being sold off. There are no residential plans for it, so we wouldnt be able to live in it. any ideas what we might actually be able to do with it? It has commercial lettings so we can use it as a business if we want, but for what lol?

is this flat good value for money in Kingston Upon Thames (Link inside question)?
Q. I quite like the area of Kingston Upon Thames as I currently live in the country side and dont want to make a too big of a step to move to somewhere busy like central london but i do want to live near it.. Is this flat good value for money as i hear its quite expensive over there?
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-38779040.html

A. That flat is f-appalling value for money. How can you even wonder whether £3,800pcm represents good value for money on a rented flat? Signing the tenancy contract on that property would be a commitment to wasting so much money for the sake of the wonderful river outlook and for the spurious privilege of dealing with a plummy lettings agency (Foxtons).
Compared with most other suburban places around London, Kingston-upon-Thames is actually quite a busy and densely populated one, so it doesn't even suit your requirement for an easy transition moving from the countryside. There are 2 main reasons Kingston is such a highly expensive place: the river Thames association and the word 'Royal' in the local authority's name. Apart from that you actually find better residential areas on average in Sutton, Croydon and Bromley! Don't get me wrong, I like Kingston and it has a few charms, but people are quite mad to pay what they do to live in a property there. In Surbiton you might find a realistic compromise. Not in New Malden though.
