I am in usa.I want to invest in india in proerty and buy house. How do i get loan from usa banks?

Q. am in usa.I want to invest in india in proerty .How do i get loan from usa banks for investment in indian prperty.Or is there any venture capital would like to invest in india? What are legal and physical aspect?India has huge potential for growth.I need some sort of alliance here .In usa there are 2.5 millian indians.Almost everyone would be interested in investment in india. But they do not know how to get finance in usa nad hold property in india.Does us treasury department allow such investment by us bank?Or any private institution who would be interested ?I do have expeience in developing propert in india for over 14 years.

A. If you want to do the loan in the USA, it has to be a signature loan. That means a loan done on the basis of your credit only, and not on collateral. You probably already know that.
Dual citizenship will not help you.
It is expressly illegal for any bank or any private investor in the United States to give a loan based on collateral physically located on another country's soil.
Most other non-third world countries have similar real property laws related to their legitimate banking transactions and activities.
Good Luck.

Is it possible USA to compete economically in the near future with countries like China and others?
Q. These countries produce goods much much cheaper than in USA.
Will it be possible to keep paying high us $ salaries to workers in USA compared to other developing countries ???

A. Modern economy is not only about manufacturing, but also about services and intellectual property.

When you pay $10 for a T-shirt, $2 goes to China for making the shirt, $3 goes to GAP that designed the shirt, and $5 goes to the shop for its employee salaries, rent, and transportation costs.

Food is was mostly grown in US due to trade barriers and farmer subsidies (little dirty secret of our free-market economy). On top of that, half the food we consume comes from restaurants or fast food, so it is processed in US.

Rent and housing money obviously goes to US sources.

And then come services. Cell phones, Internet, Cable, Movies and DVDs, iTunes, videogames, are all US-made.

So the bottom line is that China might be making material stuff, but it's the intangible goods that matter, and US is way ahead in those.

What would I have to do to reclaim land and properties in Syria as a Syrian Israeli ?
Q. My family owns a lot of land and properties in Syria. We lost it after Syrian government expelled us, together with other hundreds of thousands of Jews, in 1948. As an Israeliof Syrian origin, I was wondering what I would need to do to either regain possession of the land or receive a payout for it; given I have then deeds for it.

A. Mind showing me the order given to expel the Syrian Jews? Actually the truth un Syria under Hafez al-Assad, Jews were FORBIDDEN to leave to Israel, which isn't very fair either. Most emigrated to the USA- voluntarily. Unless, like I previously mentioned you can provide a source where the Syrian government ordered them to leave.
@Zaax funny Palestinian refugees had the word "Palestine" on their ID cards since 1948, and their passports since 1922. Surely you are not suggesting that in 1967 ONE of them actually read it and said "Hey guys, turns out we're 'Palestinians'. Did you know that?!" Combined with the fact that Palestinians writers have been referring to themselves as Palestinians and the area they lived in as Palestine for centuries. So a Russian immigrant overnight becomes an "Israeli", a country that had not existed since 721 BCE- and not Jewish on top of that! Yet a refugee can not call himself the name of the land that he and his ancestors came from and the rest of the world calls him?

How does the USA government plan to implement the $700billion bailout?
Q. Treasury secretary, Paulson, said that he will not answer questions about the $700billion bailout's implementation plan. The USA government plans to buy the bad mortgages and sell them for a price. How will this price be determined and who will determine it? Shouldn't the government hire Donald Trump to sell these bad mortgages?

A. By setting up and over seer board of lawyers investors finical advisers
.
And real estate professionals to over see the property under consideration of purchasing
.
The the first one in line will be recieved as to who wants part of the 700 billion avaliable to buy these homes
.
Now comes the hard one what will the investement ferms do with the money when all they are are that investment ferms
.
The banks we know what will happen it will go into the kitty to loan out and who do you think is first in line there
.
Not people it is corporations needing money to cover their paychecks and up grade their offices and improve the way they build roads
.
And the nickle and dime that is left is for the brave ones who want to take a gamble that they will still have a job in 6 months to buy a home
.
So you think about that how long will that 700 billion last when you got 50 states in line
.
Not long for sure not long
.
And we are back to square ONE again
.
How to get out of this mess

What are the rules about transfering sales proceeds to the USA?
Q. I plan to sell a property in India, and buy a property in USA.
The property is worh Rs. 2.5 crore. The Indian property has been with me since 1985.
I am now a Green Card holder in the US.
I have been away from India for the last five years.

A. Speak to a tax attorney. No joke. You will have to file a return as a resident and could be hit by both Indian and US tax law. At least run it by a reputable CPA.

USA is fine with your bringing money in. It's how much remains yours that you will want to structure.

How to buy Property in India while living in USA?
Q. The buyer and seller are living in USA. The property is in India. In this case, how do we proceed with the purchase of the land? What role will the Embassy play?
I can "edit' and provide additional details if needed.

Thanks for the help.

A. Depending on if you are Indian citizen or not - but here are some rules/requirements:

Residency Requirement

According to Buy Association, a foreign national must be a resident of India for 183 days in a financial year to be allowed to purchase property. This can be challenging since a tourist visa lasts 180 days.

Foreign nationals cannot circumvent the residency requirement through the operation of an Indian-registered company, according to Buy Association). It also is illegal to try to become a joint property owner in India with someone who does qualify.

of if you are Indian:

Non-resident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin (PIOs) can purchase property in India without residency.

NRIs have an Indian passport and nationality, although they have emigrated from the country. The PIO status allows for someone of Indian origin for up to four generations to be allowed to purchase property in India. This inclusion has fueled much of the property boom in India.

You can find more info here: http://www.ehow.com/list_6529117_rules-nationals-buying-property-india.html

If you would like to purchase property in India, I strongly recomand to find a good local Realtor with international experience. I am sure he/she can guide you through the process and find the property for you. Here are some contact info for people who might be able to answer most of your questions in regards of the real estate market in India:

What qualifications are necessary to live in the USA upon buying a house?
Q. Does buying a house qualify one for some kind of permanent residence? What ways can a foreigner use to live in a house purchased in the USA? Is it even legally possible to achieve this without having to go through the green card or other visa process?
Any help greatly appreciated.

A. Home ownership will not effect anything. It will not even entitle you to a visa to inspect the property.

You need to immigrate by the rules everyone else follows, buying a home will not have any effect on a green card or visa.

Thanks!

A. Social Issues, 1920s
The original Ku Klux Klan had died out in the late 1870s as post-Civil War Reconstruction was drawing to a close. A myth persisted, however, that the organization had been largely responsible for saving the South from corrupt outside influences.

In 1915, a new klan was started in Stone Mountain, Georgia, by William Simmons, a Methodist minister who had taken inspiration from the favorable portrayal of the klan in D.W. Griffith's epic film, The Birth of a Nation. Emphasizing costumes, rallies and secret rituals, the klan grew rapidly in the South. The initial targets were blacks, whom many whites felt had been warped by wartime experiences. Black workers on the home front had earned respectable wages and expected the same after the war, and black veterans, who had witnessed a racially tolerant society in France, longed for a more accepting America. Perturbed whites believed the blacks had to be put back in their place.

The appeal of the klan spread to the North and West, and at its peak in the mid-1920s achieved a total membership of four million or more. Members served in state legislatures and Congress, and were elected to the governorship in several states. Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon saw significant klan influence.

The central klan offices marketed regalia and literature to local units, but agendas were molded by community conditions and concerns. Blacks were the subject of klan activity in both the North and South, as were Jews, Catholics and immigrants. The klan also organized to oppose the teaching of evolution in the schools, dissemination of birth control devices and information, and efforts to repeal prohibition.

Probably the majority of klan members confined their opposition tactics to parading and burning crosses, the latter an innovation of the new klan. However, violence was not uncommon public whippings, tarring and feathering, and lynching occurred in many sections of the country.

Serious concern about klan activity was raised early in its history, especially by a series of exposés in the Baltimore Sun and the New York World. It was, however, the conduct of a number of klan leaders that finally led to the group's decline. In particular, Indiana klan leader David Stephenson was convicted in 1925 of kidnapping and second degree murder. To get his sentence lightened, he implicated other Indiana officials whose corrupt activities were widely reported. By 1930, membership nationwide had plummeted to around 10,000.

In the West and South, the second Ku Klux Klan comprised largely poor, rural and fundamentalist Protestant members who believed that evil came from the cities, non-Northern European immigrants and a postwar tolerance for loose morality. A more urban character was evident in the North. http://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h1381.html --------------- A hysterical white girl related that a nineteen-year-old colored boy attempted to assault her in the public elevator of a public office building of a thriving town of 100,000 in open daylight. Without pausing to find out whether or not the story was true, without bothering with the slight detail of investigating the character of the woman who made the outcry (as a matter of fact, she was of exceedingly doubtful reputation), a mob of 100-per-cent Americans set forth on a wild rampage that cost the lives of fifty white men; of between 150 and 200 colored men, women and children; the destruction by fire of $1,500,000 worth of property; the looting of many homes; and everlasting damage to the reputation of the city of Tulsa and the State of Oklahoma.---------http://www1.assumption.edu/ahc/raceriots/default.html --------------------- Women of the Klan: Racism and Gender in the 1920s
