Is the right to deny a search of property under any circumstances a right that is granted in the U.S. Constitu?
Q. Is the right to deny a search of property under any circumstances a right that is granted in the U.S. Constitution??

A. I assume you mean the 4th Amendment to the Constitution?

That only protects you against unlawful searches and seizures. You can say "No" if the police ask you to search your property, but if you do, they can detain you while waiting for a warrant. Basically, if you don't have anything to hide, let them in. You cannot prevent them from searching if they have a warrant to search the specified property for specified items.

Advice for my grandparents on computer first time buyer?
Q. Hey there guys, My grandparents are planning to buy a computer which will connect to the internet so they can search property etc. Is there any advice (preferably web pages) on first time buying and beating some of the Jargon. I can help with the setup of the computer and software and Jargon but I cant be there all the time to help, maybe you can suggest a website I can print off to hand him on advice on the above topics.
Much appreciated.

A. Please, do yourself and your grandparents a big favor and buy a Mac, you cannot go wrong. Here are reasons why; you get good quality for your money, it is fast and easy to set up and simple to use, good tech support and you don't have the worries of other computer owners of viruses, hackers, etc.

I have used many computers and always buy Apple Computers for my personal use.

Log on to their website to see the products and they have specials too. When I got mine, it came with an iPod and HP Printer/Copier!

Also, if your grandparents have never used a computer, they can take tutorials or a class.

Can conservation officers search others stuff when not present?
Q. So we had a run in with a conservation officer and although i made it clear that the tube that he was checking was not mine and that the owner should be present if he wished to check it. The real owner was up the stream about a quarter of a mile. We were not fishing or hunting so i see no reason that he had the right to search it. Now i know they have special rights in that they don't need warrants or anything to search your property, but dosn't the owner need to be present atleast?

A. Because you did not claim ownership...the officer can consider the property "abandoned."

Additionally, if the property can potentially conceal a weapon the officer has the ability to conduct a "simple frisk" or search of the property.

Good question with a lot of potential gray area...but he was within his legal boundry!
